Save It: Ad Council + AARP

Women weren’t allowed to have their own credit card (without a husband’s signature) until the 1970s. We’re still playing catch up. And that’s why—still—women are 80% more likely than men to be impoverished in retirement, if they can afford to retire at all. So the Ad Council and AARP wanted to address this systemic crisis head on. Women 40-60 don’t need any more weak advice. They need tools. We created the Save It campaign to put financial independence directly into their hands.

To the world: save your patronizing posture and stereotypical banter. To these women: save your excuses; then save your future.

First, we called out the problem. Then, we lead women to tangible next steps toward financial independence.
